Paramount+ has confirmed that the spy‑thriller series Lioness, created by Taylor Sheridan and starring Zoe Saldana, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman, will return for a third season. The renewal was announced in October 2025, and a trailer released on July 16 highlighted new storylines involving hidden networks, foreign operatives and personal betrayals.

Season 3 is scheduled to debut exclusively on Paramount+ on Sunday, August 2, 2026. The press release notes that the lead character, Joe McNamara (Saldana), will confront enemies operating in the shadows while balancing duty and personal life, with new characters joining the cast.

The series' first two seasons remain available for streaming on the platform.
