Paramount+ announces new film and sports releases for August 10-16

Paramount+ has announced a lineup of new content and live sports scheduled for release between August 10 and August 16.

On August 15, the streaming service will release the 2016 film "Bleed for This," starring Miles Teller as boxer Vinny Pazienza. The movie depicts Pazienza's recovery and return to professional boxing following a near-fatal car accident. The film also features Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal, and Ciarán Hinds.

Additionally, "Dana White’s Contender Series" is set to premiere on August 11. This 10-episode combat sports reality series features MMA fighters competing at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas for a chance to earn official UFC contracts.

Live sports coverage on the platform this week includes the UEFA Super Cup featuring PSG vs. Aston Villa on August 12, PBR Team Series on August 14, EFL Championship matches, BIG3 Basketball, UFC 330, and the FedEx St. Jude Championship for the PGA Tour.
