Paramount Announces 'Predators Assassins 2' Starring Mason Gooding and Emily Rudd

Paramount Pictures is developing a sequel to the 2020 horror film "Predators Assassins," titled "Predators Assassins 2" (also referred to as "Crawl 2"). The movie will feature Mason Gooding, known from the "Scream" franchise, and Emily Rudd as the new protagonists. The story is set in a partially flooded New York City after a hurricane, expanding the original’s Florida house setting.

Director Alexandre Aja, who helmed the first film, returns to direct and also produce alongside Sam Raimi and Craig Florese. Additional producers include Gregory Levasseur and Zainab Azizi. Filming is slated to begin in August in Hungary. The original "Predators Assassins" earned $91.5 million worldwide on a $14 million budget, prompting the sequel’s green‑light.
