Paramount+ completes filming on Australian drama Who The Hell Is Hamish

Paramount+ Australia has announced the completion of filming for its new six-part original drama, ‘Who The Hell Is Hamish?’. The series was filmed in Queensland with support from Screen Australia and Screen Queensland.

Inspired by a true story, the drama follows a fraudster named Hamish, played by Dominic Cooper, who targets a recently divorced single mother named Bec, played by Claire van der Boom. As Bec identifies inconsistencies in Hamish’s behavior, her suspicions uncover a massive pattern of deception spanning multiple continents, involving an estimated $70 million.

The production is a collaboration between Hoodlum Entertainment and CBS Studios. The series was created and written by Adam Zwar and directed by Jeffrey Walker. It is scheduled for a global premiere on Paramount+ in late 2026.
