Paramount+ renews ‘MobLand’ for season 3 with Tom Hardy

Paramount+ has officially renewed the crime drama series ‘MobLand’ for a third season. This announcement comes ahead of the scheduled premiere of the show’s second season on September 18, 2026.

The renewal confirms that lead actors Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren will all return for the third installment. Hardy will reprise his role as the fixer Harry da Souza, while Brosnan and Mirren will continue as the Harrigan family patriarch and matriarch, Conrad and Maeve.

The decision follows months of industry speculation regarding Tom Hardy’s future with the production. Reports had previously suggested potential on-set friction and creative differences between Hardy, showrunner Jez Butterworth, and producer David Glasser. However, the official renewal puts to rest rumors that Hardy had been removed from the series.

Season two is expected to feature ten episodes, with new installments released weekly on Fridays, concluding with a finale on November 20, 2026. The series, set in North London, follows the power struggles and internal tensions of the Harrigan criminal empire.
