Paramount distributes ‘The F Ward’ to 100 international markets

Paramount Global Content Distribution has secured licensing deals for the medical drama ‘The F Ward’ in 100 international territories. The six-part series, which launched on the Australian streaming service Stan in July, has become the fastest-selling Australian drama ever prior to its global launch.

Co-produced by Roadshow Rough Diamond and CBS Studios, the series stars Anna Friel and follows a group of medical interns at the underfunded Pines Hospital in Sydney. The show explores the challenges interns face as they attempt to complete their training in a high-stakes environment.

Key international broadcasters and streaming platforms include Channel 4 in the UK, CBC and Quebecor Content in Canada, JioHotstar in India, and Sky NZ in New Zealand. In Europe, SkyShowtime will distribute the series across numerous countries, including Spain, the Netherlands, and Sweden. In the Americas, Claro video will carry the show across various Latin American markets.
