Dutton Ranch Sets Paramount+ Viewership Record and Secures Season 2

Paramount+’s "Dutton Ranch," the Yellowstone spinoff, finished its first season as the streaming service’s biggest freshman series ever, averaging 13.3 million views per episode on seven‑day data and drawing 12.9 million global views in its launch week. The show ranked No. 1 on Paramount+ worldwide each week since its May debut and also topped cable ratings on Paramount Network with an average of 2 million viewers, making it the most‑watched new cable series in three years.

The strong performance earned the series a renewal for a second season, though no premiere date has been announced; filming is expected to begin in early 2027. Cast members Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser confirmed that season 2 will shift focus toward other lead characters, highlighting veteran actors Annette Bening and Ed Harris. The series continues to draw attention for its high‑profile production team, including creator Chad Feehan and showrunners Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.

Overall, "Dutton Ranch" has solidified its place as a flagship title for Paramount+, joining other successful Sheridan projects such as "The Madison" and "Landman" in delivering record streaming numbers.
