Paramount expands cast for Crawl 2 sequel

Director Alexandre Aja is expanding the cast for the upcoming horror sequel to the 2019 film Crawl. Five new actors have joined the production: Sarah Niles, Ray Panthaki, Richard Brake, Charley Palmer Rothwell, and Flula Borg.

Mason Gooding and Emily Rudd were previously announced as the leads for the untitled sequel. The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on July 16, 2027. The original film, which centered on a woman and her father facing alligators during a hurricane in Florida, grossed over $91 million worldwide.

Alexandre Aja is returning to direct and has co-written the script with Jason Harry Pagan, Andrew Deutschman, and Gregory Levasseur. The production includes Sam Raimi as a producer.
