Paramount Pictures reveals first look at K-Pop: The Debut

Paramount Pictures has shared a first look at ‘K-Pop: The Debut’, a coming-of-age musical drama scheduled for theatrical release on February 26, 2027. The film was showcased at KCON LA.

The story follows Lizzy Lee, portrayed by Ji-young Yoo, a Korean-American woman who enters a globally televised competition in Seoul, South Korea, to join a new K-pop girl group. The plot centers on her journey to pursue her own dreams while navigating the intense competition and her identity. Eric Nam appears in the film as an unexpected ally.

Directed by Benson Lee, the production is a collaboration between Paramount Pictures, Domain Entertainment, and HYBE America/Epic Magazine. The cast includes Ji-young Yoo, Eric Nam, Jitae Yoo, Tony Revolori, and Gia Kim.
