Paramount releases Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender sequel

Paramount has released ‘Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender’, a new animated film serving as a sequel to the original Nickelodeon series. Set approximately a decade after the conclusion of the original show, the story follows the aged-up core characters—Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko.

In this new installment, Aang seeks to find a way to bring back the Air Nomads after hearing of an ancient ancestor who might grant people the power to control air. During their journey, the group encounters Tagah, a frozen man with tattoos similar to Aang’s, who shares a similar quest. The film features highly detailed animation and continues the themes of friendship and elemental bending established in the original series.
