Paramount+ renews 'Dutton Ranch' for season 2

Paramount+ announced that the Yellowstone spinoff 'Dutton Ranch' has been renewed for a second season. The series follows Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they manage their 7,000‑acre ranch in South Texas. The first season generated 12.9 million global streaming views in its first seven days and features an ensemble cast that includes Ed Harris, Annette Bening, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney and others.

Episode 8, titled “Whiskey Limits” and aired on June 26, revealed that the rival 10 Petal Ranch operates an illegal cattle‑smuggling operation from Mexico and forged paperwork that led to a foot‑and‑mouth outbreak destroying the Dutton herd. The episode confirmed fan suspicions that the Jackson family, owners of 10 Petal Ranch, are responsible for the tragedy, setting up a showdown for the season finale.
