Paramount+ renews “Dutton Ranch” for season 2

Paramount+ confirmed that the Taylor Sheridan‑created series “Dutton Ranch” will return for a second season. The network highlighted the show's strong launch, noting that the premiere attracted 1.85 million viewers worldwide and that the first week generated 12.9 million global views, the biggest original series debut in Paramount+ history. Jane Wiseman, Head of Originals for Paramount+, said, “Beth and Rip are among the most iconic duos in television history and we are thrilled to bring a whole new world to life with Dutton Ranch for our subscribers around the world.” Matt Thunell, President of Paramount Television Studios, added, “Thank you to our partners at Paramount+ and 101 Studios for a phenomenal first season. We look forward to bringing fans more stories from these unforgettable characters in Season 2.”

The series’ finale (episode 9) sees Beth and Rip confronting a threat that could jeopardize their future, with plot elements involving the 10‑Petal Ranch and lingering tensions among the ranch’s workers.

Separately, social‑media chatter from Jeremy Renner and Frank Grillo has sparked speculation about a potential crossover between “Tulsa King” and “Mayor of Kingstown,” suggesting that characters from the two Paramount+ dramas could intersect in future storylines.
