Paramount+ to host Star Trek 60th anniversary event at Movie Park Germany

Paramount+ is hosting a free fan celebration at Movie Park Germany on September 8, 2026, to mark the 60th anniversary of the Star Trek premiere. The event, themed ‘60 Years of Star Trek – Space For Everybody’, will see the park dedicated exclusively to the celebration from 10:00 to 20:00, with no regular park operations.

The festivities include a Paramount+ Cinema featuring selected episodes from the franchise and a stage program at the ‘Command Deck’. Scheduled activities feature voice cast panels from Voyager and The Next Generation, scientific presentations on science fiction, Klingon language introductions, and interactive quizzes. The event also includes stand-up comedy and podcast summits.

Originally created by Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek premiered in 1966 and has since grown from a niche science fiction series into a massive global franchise. The anniversary event aims to bring together fans to celebrate the series' enduring legacy and cultural impact.
