Paramvir Singh Beniwal reports racist attack in Las Vegas

Indian travel vlogger Paramvir Singh Beniwal reported being targeted by a racist attack while livestreaming in Las Vegas. Beniwal stated that a group of men, who were also streamers, approached him and his friend under the guise of being friendly before making disparaging remarks.

One individual claimed to own 73 7-Eleven stores and offered Beniwal a job as a cashier, a comment Beniwal identified as a racist trope regarding the employment of Indians in the United States. Beniwal recorded the exchange, during which he responded to the hecklers by stating, “You guys look too poor for me to work for you guys.”

Beniwal noted that the group appeared to be attempting to create racist content for their own livestreams. He expressed that while he is accustomed to stereotypes regarding Indian workers, the direct nature of the encounter was intended to bully him.
