Paraná and Olavarría launch winter fairs for local entrepreneurs

The city of Paraná opened its inaugural "Feriando Costanera" fair, organized by the municipal Centres of Social Economy during the winter break. The event showcases textiles, leather goods, food, and other handcrafted goods from over 50 neighbourhood entrepreneurs. Sub‑secretary of Social Economy Priscila Spinetti said the fair is meant to provide a free venue that highlights local talent and generates income for families.

In Olavarría, the municipality announced a call for artisans, producers and workers from the Popular Economy to take part in stalls at the "Polo Educativo y Recreativo La Máxima" during the winter holidays. Registrations were accepted from 13 to 16 July, with participants required to meet sector‑specific certifications. The fairs will run Thursday to Sunday, 14:00‑17:00, offering families recreational and shopping options.
