The government of Paraná has announced a R$ 49.7 million investment package to enhance disaster response capabilities across the state. As part of this initiative, 110 Fiat Titano 4x4 pickup trucks have been acquired for R$ 24.8 million. Of these, 68 vehicles will be distributed to 68 different municipalities, including Apucarana, Arapongas, Jandaia do Sul, and Sabáudia, to support Civil Defense and Fire Department operations. The remaining 42 vehicles will be allocated to state operational units.

Additionally, the state has introduced eight Magirus Aircore TAF60X fire-fighting robots, marking the first deployment of such technology in Brazil. These remote-controlled robots, representing a R$ 24.9 million investment, will be stationed at eight strategic bases, including Curitiba, Londrina, and Foz do Iguaçu, to combat large-scale industrial and forest fires.

Separately, infrastructure projects in the region continue to progress. The revitalization of the Pontal do Paraná waterfront has reached 37% completion as of September. This project includes the construction of bike paths, walking tracks, and a boardwalk, with full completion expected by the first half of 2027.
