Paraná attracts R$270 million in new industrial investments
Ambev announced a R$70 million investment to build a new 3,000‑square‑metre packaging plant in Paraná, set to open in 2029. The facility will produce bottles and cans for brands such as Brahma, Skol, Stella Artois, Budweiser, Spaten and Original, serving the whole Brazilian market and exporting to Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior attended the announcement in Curitiba.
Copagril declared a R$200 million project to construct a grain‑processing complex in Maripá, Paraná. Planned for 2026‑2030, the complex will include storage for one million sacks of grain (about 60 000 tonnes) and feed mills capable of producing 15 000 tonnes of cattle feed and 10 000 tonnes of fish feed per month. The venture is expected to create roughly 120 direct jobs and strengthen the region’s agribusiness supply chain.
