Paraná, Brazil, adds over 1,000 jobs and launches new truck sales hub

The concessionaire Via Campo, operating in the western, northern and central‑west regions of Paraná, reported the creation of more than 1,000 direct and indirect jobs within three months of starting road‑work operations. The company emphasized hiring local workers for maintenance, conservation and user‑service roles and highlighted a 30‑year contract that foresees R$ 11.86 billion in investments, boosting hotels, restaurants, fuel stations and local workshops.

At the same time, Localiza Seminovos Caminhões opened its first truck‑sales outlet in Maringá, a city with a GDP of over R$ 27 billion and a strategic position on the BR‑376 corridor. The 6,000 m² facility offers trucks up to three years old, targeting transporters, logistics firms and agribusiness producers. The launch coincides with a 27.7 % rise in used‑truck sales nationwide between 2024 and 2025, and each vehicle undergoes a 160‑item inspection before sale. Both developments are expected to reinforce the regional economy and support the logistics sector.
