Paraná Civil Defense conducts 4x4 vehicle training
Approximately 55 employees of the Paraná State Civil Defense participated in specialized training to operate 4x4 vehicles in adverse conditions. Held in Tijucas do Sul, the program included theoretical and practical lessons on navigating obstacles, flooded areas, and steep inclines.
The training aims to prepare teams for reaching high-risk areas and disaster sites where access is often difficult. Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Lorenzetto, head of the Risk and Disaster Management Division, stated that the exercises allow civilian employees to understand vehicle mechanics and operational capabilities in non-routine situations. This ensures teams can reach emergencies without compromising safety or service quality.
The State Civil Defense consists of 175 employees, half of whom are military personnel, including firefighters and military police. Participants included teams from Regional Action Nuclei and staff from the headquarters in Curitiba.
