Paraná Civil Police launches new public tender for delegates, agents

The Polícia Civil do Paraná (PCPR) issued a decree on 6 July announcing a new public tender to bolster its workforce. The competition will create a two‑year reserve register—extendable for another two years—for the positions of delegate, judicial police agent and papiloscopist. Applicants must register between 14 July and 12 August.

The first phase, an objective test of 100 multiple‑choice questions, is scheduled for 11 October in Curitiba, Cascavel and Londrina. Candidates for the delegate role will also face a written essay and an oral examination. All successful applicants will undergo health, physical‑aptitude, psychological, social‑investigation and title‑evaluation assessments, followed by a training course before assignment to units in Curitiba, the metropolitan region or interior municipalities.

The tender is being administered by the Fundação de Apoio à Segurança Pública (Fundaseg), which has contracted the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) to design, coordinate and execute all stages of the selection process.
