Paraná Coast Regional Science Fair opens registrations

The 15th Regional Science Fair of the Paraná Coast is now accepting registrations for students in the region. Scheduled to take place from October 7 to 9, 2026, the event will be held at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) Coastal Sector in Matinhos.

Coordinated by the LabMóvel extension program, the initiative aims to stimulate interest in science and demystify scientific processes in coastal areas. The fair encourages participation from various educational levels, including final years of elementary school, high school, and Youth and Adult Education (EJA).

The selection process begins with an online evaluation of submitted abstracts. From this phase, the 50 highest-rated projects will be selected to participate in the in-person stage of the fair. Selected participants will be required to submit banners following specific organizational guidelines.
