Paraná educational institutions open selection processes

Educational institutions in Paraná are conducting various selection processes for teachers and students. The state government is concluding applications for bilingual teachers for the ‘Escolas do Futuro’ (Schools of the Future) project. This initiative, targeting units in Piraquara and Toledo, aims to integrate Portuguese and English instruction with technology, STEM, and maker culture. The selection is restricted to professionals already part of the state's teaching staff (QPM) and includes proficiency tests and interviews.

Separately, the Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR) is accepting applications for its 2027 intake. The selection covers integrated high school programs with technical training, subsequent technical courses, and higher education across 26 cities. The IFPR program reserves 60% of its integrated high school spots for public school students, with additional quotas for affirmative action and income-based criteria. Applications must be submitted via the institution's candidate portal using a gov.br account.
