Adriana sentenced, attacked in prison as 'Quem Ama Cuida' drama escalates

Adriana (Letícia Colin) is convicted of the murder of Arthur Brandão (Antonio Fagundes) and receives a 12‑year sentence in a closed‑regime prison. While incarcerated, she is violently assaulted in her cell by Zeni, acting on orders from the villain Pilar, sustaining serious injuries and having a sentimental bracelet stolen.

During the trial, Adriana accuses the lawyer Ademir (Dan Stulbach) of possible involvement in the crime, intensifying the family conflict. After serving six years, the second phase of the novela begins with her release, where she plans revenge against those she holds responsible, including Pilar, who continues scheming for the Brandão inheritance. The storyline also introduces Heitor, the presumed‑dead son of Arthur, whose return further reshapes the fight over the family fortune.
