Sergio Moro leads Paraná gubernatorial race in latest polls

Recent polling data for the 2026 elections in Paraná shows Senator Sergio Moro (PL) leading the race for governor. According to Real Time Big Data, Moro holds 35% of the vote, followed by Sandro Alex (PSD) at 23% and Requião Filho (PDT) at 20%. A separate survey by Instituto Neokemp shows Moro with a stronger lead of 46.9%, significantly ahead of Requião Filho (23.3%) and Sandro Alex (17.7%).

In the race for the Senate, Deltan Dallagnol (Novo) leads with approximately 20% of the intention to vote, followed by Alexandre Curi (18%) and Filipe Barros (17%).

Political tensions have escalated following comments by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who referred to Moro and Dallagnol as “monstros mentirosos” (lying monsters) created by the Lava Jato operation. Both candidates have responded defensively; Dallagnol stated he would not apologize for the investigations that led to the president's previous imprisonment.
