Paraná highways undergo maintenance and traffic changes

Infrastructure maintenance and construction projects are underway on several highways in the state of Paraná, Brazil.

In Foz do Iguaçu, the BR-469 (Rodovia das Cataratas) is undergoing traffic changes near the new access viaduct to the Foz do Iguaçu International Airport. To facilitate the duplication of the highway and work on the central lane, marginal roads will operate in a single direction. Drivers traveling toward the airport will need to use a specific U-turn located under the viaduct to access Rua Jardim Alegre.

In the southwest region, the concessionaire EPR Iguaçu has initiated nighttime pavement recovery works on highways PR-483, PR-180, and PR-280. These operations, occurring between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM, involve milling and pavement recomposition in the municipalities of Francisco Beltrão, Marmeleiro, and Renascença. To manage traffic during these repairs, a ‘Stop and Go’ system will be implemented, providing alternating passage for vehicles.
