Paraná hosts two new cultural exhibitions in Curitiba and Maringá

The ceramic artist Rodrigo Bertoli opened his exhibition “Bichos do Paraná” at the Museu Casa Alfredo Andersen in Curitiba on Saturday, August 1. The free show, curated by Luiz Gustavo Vardânega Vidal Pinto and Ligiane Swab, displays hand‑made sculptures of the state’s wildlife and will remain on view in the Ana de Oliveira gallery until September.

On the same day, the “Olhares da Negritude de Maringá” photography exhibition opened to the public in the main hall of the Maringá bus terminal. Organized with municipal cultural funding by producer Tiago Silva and creative director João Junior, the free exhibit runs until August 13 and highlights the work of Black independent artists from the city. It includes audio‑description QR codes for accessibility and a complimentary creative‑photography workshop held at 11 a.m. on opening day.
