Paraná Military Firefighters expand operations in Western Brazil

The Military Firefighters Corps of Paraná (CBMPR) has implemented significant structural changes in the state's western region. In Toledo, the 14th Military Firefighters Battalion was officially inaugurated, elevating the former 2nd Company to battalion status. Led by Lieutenant Colonel Elcio José de Meira, this new unit is responsible for emergency services across 20 municipalities, including Toledo, Marechal Cândido Rondon, and Assis Chateaubriand.

Simultaneously, the 9th Military Firefighters Battalion in Foz do Iguaçu celebrated its 50th anniversary. The milestone included a change of command, where Lieutenant Colonel Marco Antonio Ferreira Pereira succeeded Lieutenant Colonel Edson Leonel Rodrigues. To commemorate the golden jubilee, the unit launched 'BASE', a digital magazine designed to document the battalion's history and daily activities.
