Paraná municipalities roll out 2026 IPTU payment booklets and Good‑Payer prize winners

The municipality of Marilândia do Sul announced that 2026 IPTU payment booklets are now available for collection at the Taxation Department. Payments are due on 15 June, with a 10 % discount for single‑payment filings and the option to parcel the tax in up to six installments. Residents can also receive payment slips via WhatsApp, and seniors with a single property and income up to two minimum wages are eligible for a 50 % discount upon presenting proof of pension.

In Apucarana, the city government published the June winners of its IPTU Good‑Payer campaign. Five taxpayers each received a R$1,000 prize for paying the tax on time, with the programme offering 52 monthly prizes through the end of 2026, including a zero‑kilometre car and a motorbike. Mayor Rodolfo Mota emphasized that timely tax collection funds public services such as health and education, while the municipal finance secretary warned that any missed installment disqualifies participants from the lottery.
