Paraná municipality provides food handling training for entrepreneurs
The Municipality of Paraná conducted a food handling training course at the 19 de Septiembre neighborhood commission, attracting more than 45 participants. The turnout exceeded the initial expectation of 30 attendees.
This training, held in a local community hall for the first time, is designed to help food industry workers and entrepreneurs obtain the mandatory certification required by the Argentine Food Code. The program involved collaboration with the National University of Entre Ríos and the Autonomous University of Entre Ríos.
According to Subsecretary of Production Oscar Bustamante, the initiative is part of a broader strategy by Mayor Rosario Romero’s administration to support entrepreneurs through training, financing, and commercial promotion.
