Paraná political leaders discuss economic development and administration
Political activity in Paraná is intensifying as current Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior and gubernatorial candidate Requião Filho engage with economic and developmental agendas.
Ratinho Junior reviewed his administration's performance, highlighting the state's record GDP, low unemployment rates, and significant infrastructure projects. Key works mentioned include the Guaratuba Bridge, the modernization of the Port of Paranaguá, and the duplication of the Rodovia dos Minérios. He noted that his administration has attracted R$ 400 billion in new industrial investments.
Meanwhile, Requião Filho received the Strategic Agenda for Paraná (2027/30) from the G7 Paraná group. This 48-page document, compiled by seven economic entities including Sistema Faep, outlines demands from productive sectors regarding economic and social development, public management, agriculture, industry, and infrastructure. The agenda has also been presented to other candidates, including Sandro Alex and Sergio Moro, to guide future government policies.
