Paraná pre‑candidate Sandro Alex highlights infrastructure projects and economic goals

Sandro Alex, the PSD pre‑candidate for governor of Paraná, argued on 13 May that the state’s ongoing infrastructure programme should continue without interruption. He pointed to the largest investment cycle in the state’s history, funded by the Paraná Treasury and new concessions, and listed completed works such as the duplication of the Rodovia das Cataratas in Foz do Iguaçu, the new Trevo Cataratas in Cascavel, the Souza Naves access road in Ponta Grossa, and viaducts in Campo Largo, Cambé, Londrina, Maringá and São José dos Pinhais.

Alex also cited ongoing projects, including the PR‑423 duplication in Araucária, the forthcoming metropolitan corridor to Fazenda Rio Grande, paving of over 400 rural roads, and gas expansion to Lapa, Maringá and Londrina. He claimed these works will modernise the state’s logistics, boost the local economy, raise employment and wages, and help Paraná become Brazil’s third‑largest economy. He concluded that no road, paving or duplication should be halted.

The campaign message emphasized that "discurso não ganha do trabalho" (talk does not win over work) and that the population recognizes the impact of the projects.
