Paraná public universities launch hiring exams and 2027 entrance selection

The State University of Central-West (UNICENTRO) in Paraná released Edital 112/2026 for the temporary hiring of 27 professors across its Guarapuava and Irati campuses. Positions cover agrarian, environmental, exact sciences, health, and humanities fields, with salaries ranging from R$757.58 to R$11,221.63. Applications are open from 14 to 28 July 2026, with a R$190 fee that may be waived for eligible candidates.

The State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste) opened registrations for its 2027 Vestibular, scheduled for 29 November 2026. The selection offers Standard, Serial and Trial modalities and will be held in nine Paraná cities—Cascavel, Curitiba, Foz do Iguaçu, Francisco Beltrão, Guarapuava, Marechal Cândido Rondon, Maringá, Toledo—and Campo Grande in Mato Grosso do Sul. Exam fees are R$205 for the Standard track and R$95 for the others, with exemptions available. The process maintains quota provisions for public‑school graduates, Afro‑Brazilian applicants, and people with disabilities.
