Paraná strengthens MICE tourism at Meet Up Argentina 2026

The city of Paraná, Argentina, showcased its growing role in meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) during the sixth edition of Meet Up Argentina 2026, held on 5‑6 August at the Buenos Aires Convention Center. Municipal chief of staff Santiago Halle, tourism deputy secretary Agustín Clavenzani and Paraná Bureau president Marcelo Svetliza attended, highlighting a strategic public‑private alliance aimed at attracting large events.

Paraná remains in the national Top 10 MICE destinations for the seventh consecutive year, recording 190 events in 2025 (114 MICE, 76 sports) and already 106 meetings in 2026. The sustained agenda directly benefits local hotels, restaurants, commerce and services, reinforcing the city’s competitive position in Argentina’s event tourism market.
