Paraná Technical Verification resumes in Bella Vista

The Paraná Technical Verification service has resumed operations in Bella Vista as of September 1, following an extensive process of audits, controls, and facility upgrades. Currently, the service is only available to vehicles registered in Bella Vista.

An agreement between the Province and the National Commission for Transport Regulation (CNRT) is pending. Once the Ministry of Transport of the Province signs this agreement, expected within ten days, the service will expand to include vehicles from all of Corrientes.

Inspection requirements remain largely unchanged, requiring vehicle registration, a driver's license, and insurance. The technical review covers road safety elements such as lights, brakes, and shock absorbers. For vehicles up to seven years old, the verification is valid for two years, while older vehicles receive a one-year validity. Current costs are set at $90,000 for cars and $120,000 for vans and similar vehicles.
