Paraná to host ExpoMatcon 2026 construction materials fair
The fourth edition of ExpoMatcon, a construction materials retail fair, will be held from September 2 to 4 at the Expotrade Convention Center in Pinhais, Paraná. Organized by Simaco Paraná and Sebrae Paraná, the event is expected to generate R$ 500 million in business.
The fair aims to host more than 120 exhibitors and approximately 5,000 visitors, including store owners, buyers, managers, and industry representatives. Ademilson Milani, president of Simaco Paraná, noted that the event serves to strengthen the supply chain by bringing retailers and industry closer together.
According to data from Anamaco, the construction materials retail sector in Paraná consists of 11,767 stores. On a national level, Brazil recorded 160,627 retail stores in this segment in 2025.
