Paraná toll rates to increase at five locations

Toll rates at five locations in Paraná, Brazil, will increase starting at midnight on Friday, August 28. The average adjustment of 5.3% was authorized by the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) and is stipulated in the concession contract managed by Via Araucária.

The increase applies to 473 kilometers of federal and state highways. For light vehicles, the new rates at the specific toll plazas are:

• São Luiz do Purunã (BR-277): R$ 9.80 • Porto Amazonas (BR-277): R$ 12.30 • Irati (BR-277): R$ 11.50 • Imbituva (BR-277): R$ 11.30 • Lapa (BR-476): R$ 12.90

Via Araucária stated that the update accounts for annual economic indices and other technical factors defined in the contract. Drivers using electronic tags will continue to receive contractually established benefits.
