Paraná upgrades softball stadium lighting for 2026 South American Games

The Ingeniero Nafaldo Cargnel Stadium in Paraná has inaugurated a new LED lighting system in preparation for the 2026 South American Games. The facility is set to host both the men’s and women’s softball tournaments during the event, which will take place in September 2026.

Executed by Enersa in coordination with the Government of Entre Ríos, the project involved an investment of approximately 30 to 31 million pesos. The upgrade included the installation of 40 LED projectors of 600 watts, along with necessary electrical materials, mounting elements, and grounding systems.

Governor Rogelio Frigerio attended the inauguration, noting that the lighting upgrade was a long-standing request from the Paraná Softball Association. He emphasized the honor of Paraná serving as a host site for the regional competition, which will feature over 4,000 athletes from 15 countries.
