Paranaguá and São Francisco de Itabapoana host July cultural festivals

The municipality of Paranaguá launched the Fejupa – Festa Julina de Paranaguá, running from July 16 to 19 on the city’s Praça de Eventos. The program features local cultural performances, a Troféu Litoral Music competition, and a national‑level concert by singer Lucas Lucco, alongside a live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup final.

In São Francisco de Itabapoana, the 38th Festival do Maracujá is scheduled for July 24‑26 in Travessão de Barra. The free event includes a gospel concert by Pablo Alves, a pagode show by Tiee, a sertanejo performance by Carlos and Jader, a “Delícias do Maracujá” cooking contest, motocross races, and a traditional horse‑riding parade.

Both festivals aim to boost local tourism and cultural activity in their respective towns.
