Paraíso das Águas launches AI training for public servants

The municipality of Paraíso das Águas has launched a training program titled ‘AI in Public Management’ for its civil servants. The initiative aims to prepare municipal employees in areas such as management, inspection, bidding, and planning for the technological shifts brought by artificial intelligence.

Mayor Ivan Xixi emphasized the need to use the technology responsibly and efficiently to create a more modern and agile administration. The municipal controller, Naiara Paes, noted that the city is a pioneer in Mato Grosso do Sul for implementing such specific training for public servants, a type of program typically sought by the private sector. The training is being conducted by specialist Luiz Ottero.
