Parauapebas authorizes construction of new health unit

The City Hall of Parauapebas has authorized the start of construction for a new Type V Basic Health Unit (UBS) in the Nova Carajás neighborhood. The project involves an initial investment of R$ 8.1 million, funded by the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) through the Ministry of Health.

The new facility will feature a built area of 1,125.89 square meters. Spaço Engenharia & Construtora Ltda is responsible for the execution of the works. The municipal government stated that the project aims to expand access to healthcare services and bring medical care closer to the local population.
