Minha Casa, Minha Vida reaches 2.5 million contracts

President Lula announced that the Minha Casa, Minha Vida (MCMV) housing program has reached a milestone of 2.5 million contracted homes since its resumption in 2023. This figure meets the increased target set in February 2025, which raised the goal from 2 million to 2.5 million contracts by the end of 2026.

In Parauapebas, the municipal government has advanced the development of the Flor de Carajás housing project. The city has formalized the accreditation of HORL SPE I Ltda. to design and construct at least 1,000 social interest housing units. The project, funded through the Minha Casa, Minha Vida and Minha Casa, Minha Vida – Cidades programs, targets families in Faixa 1 and Faixa 2 income brackets. Reference values for the properties are set at R$ 172.7 thousand for Faixa 1 and R$ 235 thousand for Faixa 2.
