Parco Alto Milanese organizes environmental cleanup event

The Consorzio Parco Alto Milanese is renewing its collaboration with the Legambiente BustoVerde association for the 2026 edition of ‘Puliamo il Mondo’, a major environmental volunteer campaign in Italy.

Scheduled for Sunday, September 20, the event aims to protect biodiversity, promote urban decorum, and raise awareness about the value of green spaces. Volunteers, including families and children from the municipalities of Busto Arsizio, Legnano, and Castellanza, will gather at 9:00 AM at Cascina Borra in Borsano to clean park trails and wooded areas.

A specific focus will be placed on the Bosco dei Cammini, where participants will remove unnecessary mulch residues left from previous planting operations to support new tree growth. Organizers will provide essential equipment such as gloves, bags, and telescopic pincers. Flavio Castiglioni, President of the Parco Alto Milanese, described the initiative as a gesture of respect for the territory to be preserved for future generations.
