PARCO announces new store reopening and art exhibition for October 2026

Several cultural and retail updates are scheduled for October 16, 2026, at PARCO locations in Japan.

In Ikebukuro, the designer toy brand POP MART will reopen its Ikebukuro PARCO store on a larger scale, moving from the 6th floor to the 2nd floor. The brand, which originated in Beijing, will feature the popular IP ‘SKULLPANDA’ in its main visuals and store monuments. The reopening will include special merchandise and novelty campaigns for customers.

In Shibuya, PARCO will host ‘Tenten-ten’, an exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of musician and artist Shuta Hasunuma. Held at GALLERY X BY PARCO, the exhibition will display a chronological collection of his album jacket works. The space, designed by DDAA, will integrate light, sound, and visual art to showcase Hasunuma’s creative evolution and collaborations with various artists.
