Parco De Mita management questioned following investor withdrawal

The National Association ‘Libertas’ APS has issued a statement calling for transparency regarding the management of Parco De Mita in Benevento. The association highlights that while the park was previously a central topic of public debate concerning its usability and the prevention of disturbances, interest in the site has declined following a significant change in leadership.

In May, engineer Alessandro Pepe officially notified the owning entity of his withdrawal from the structure. Pepe had reportedly invested personal and economic resources to transform the space into a community hub for families and youth. Following his departure, the association has raised questions regarding who has assumed management responsibilities and whether proper oversight was conducted to ensure the park remains a safe and functional public asset for the community.
