Parco della Grancia sees record visitor numbers in Brindisi Montagna

Parco della Grancia, Italy’s first Historical Rural Environmental Park, reported record visitor numbers on August 29. The event drew hundreds of families and tourists to Brindisi Montagna for a program combining nature, culture, and gastronomy.

Daytime activities included educational workshops such as honey production, animal farming, and painting, alongside guided nature walks and theatrical performances. Highlights included falconry displays by ‘La Potenza del Volo’ and various historical reenactments.

The day concluded with the multimedia show ‘La Storia Bandita,’ featuring the voices of Michele Placido and Lina Sastri, which presented an epic narration of post-unification brigandage to a crowded natural amphitheater.
