Pardal app records electoral irregularity reports in Brazil

Citizens in Brazil are increasingly using the Pardal application, developed by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), to report alleged electoral irregularities. In the city of Garça, São Paulo, six complaints have been registered regarding potential violations of electoral propaganda rules for the 2026 elections.

In the state of Acre, the volume of reports is higher, with 78 complaints recorded across eight municipalities. Rio Branco accounts for the majority of these reports, with 64 filings. The complaints in Acre cover various categories, including 36 for the position of governor, 20 for state deputy, and 12 for federal deputy. The most frequent types of reported irregularities involve internet propaganda, followed by issues in public spaces and the use of public assets.

The Pardal app serves as a digital tool for transparency, allowing voters to report misconduct such as premature campaigning, misuse of resources, or the dissemination of false information. To file a report, users must authenticate themselves via e-Título or Gov.br.
