Pardubice hosts autumn cultural festivals and pyromusical shows

The city of Pardubice is hosting a series of autumn cultural celebrations featuring diverse programming, including film-themed events, live music, and traditional festivities.

The program includes a carriage procession, a historical bicycle exhibition, and performances by the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic. Saturday's highlights feature a large-scale dance performance by 350 dancers from Pohybové studio Hroch, a musical set by Eva Burešová, and a stunt show titled ‘Horses and Predators in Film’.

A notable addition to this year's festivities is a ‘silent pyromusical’ on the Elbe River. Utilizing 3D pixel mapping technology and pyrotechnic effects reaching up to 40 meters, the show is designed to be a more modern, visual alternative to traditional loud fireworks displays. Due to safety protocols, the right bank of the river will be closed to spectators.

Additionally, the Palác Pardubice hosted a senior citizens' celebration supported by the Pardubice Region. The event featured musical performances by Josef Sochor and a Karel Gott revival group, alongside cultural presentations by actress Helena Korejtková.
