Pardubice Walk of Fame adds tiles for cycling legend Roman Řehounek and orienteering icon Petr Klimpl

The city of Pardubice unveiled two new commemorative tiles on its Walk of Fame in front of the Enteria arena. Deputy mayor Jakub Rychtecký highlighted the honour as a tribute to athletes who have greatly promoted the city’s sporting reputation.

The tiles recognise Roman Řehounek, a double world champion and multiple Czechoslovak track‑cycling champion who represented the country at top international events, and Petr Klimpl, a lifelong promoter of orienteering who led OK Lokomotiva for over four decades, chaired the Czech Orienteering Federation and helped make Pardubice a key centre for the sport. The Walk of Fame now displays 46 tiles honoring notable sports figures.
