Paredes de Coura music festival draws 115,000 attendees

The Paredes de Coura music festival in Portugal concluded its four-day main event, drawing approximately 115,000 attendees to the municipality and its natural amphitheater near the Coura River.

The festival featured a diverse lineup including performances by Amyl and the Sniffers, Underworld, Bloc Party, M.I.A., and Salvador Sobral. Attendees also observed a solar eclipse during the event on Wednesday.

Following the conclusion of Paredes de Coura, the musical focus shifts approximately 30 kilometers downstream to the Vilar de Mouros festival in Caminha. The upcoming lineup for Vilar de Mouros includes Yungblud, Cabaret Voltaire, Dropkick Murphys, The Hives, and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals.
