Parenting workshops announced in Bistrița and Vrancea
Two distinct educational initiatives for parents are being organized in Romania.
In Bistrița, the Sanovil New Polyclinic, in collaboration with MedLife, will host the “Mother's School” event on November 18. The program features specialists such as obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Cristian Mureșan and pediatrician Dr. Andra Elsay Ed, who will discuss childbirth preparation and newborn care. Additionally, Georgiana Carp from MedLife Stem Cells Bank will provide information regarding stem cell harvesting. The event is free to attend and includes benefits such as puericulture certificates and prizes.
In Vrancea, the Petrești Community Service Center for Children with Disabilities, under DGASPC Vrancea, is organizing a “Parents' School” workshop on October 30, 2026. Led by clinical psychologist Daniela Roșca, the session focuses on the role of the family in child upbringing and education. The workshop emphasizes parental involvement, emotional support, and specific strategies for supporting children with disabilities to foster autonomy and communication skills.
